General Requirements
VACCINATION POLICY: All pet parents are required to provide Little Dogs Resort & Salon, Inc. with a copy of each dog’s current vaccination records. These records must show the date each vaccination was given and when it expires.
REQUIRED VACCINATIONS:

Rabies: given annually or every 3 years according to your veterinarian’s policy
Distemper Combo: given annually or every 3 years according to your veterinarian’s policy
Bordetella**: must be given within 6 months of your reservation regardless of your vet’s policies.
**Some veterinarians only require the Bordetella vaccination once yearly, some administer it as often as every three months, some vets do not administer it at all unless specifically requested to do so. Due to the variance in policy among the veterinary community, our policy here at {location name} is every six(6) months. We strictly enforce this policy for the health and safety of all of our guests.
ADVANTAGE FLEA & TICK
Our clients come to us from all over the country. While Salt Lake City’s environment produces relatively few cases of flea, tick, or lice outbreaks, for the health and safety of all of our guests, we require each dog to be treated in-house with Advantage Flea and Tick prevention.
Advantage is a topical solution that provides monthly protection against fleas, ticks, and lice. We diligently track your dog’s application date and apply the treatment as needed to our boarding and daycare guests. This safety measure is the only additional charge you will find at Little Dogs Resort and is $15.00 per month. Dogs visiting us exclusively as a grooming guest, do not receive advantage.
SPAY / NEUTER POLICY: All dogs over the age of six months must be spayed or neutered in order to come to Little Dogs Resort & Salon, Inc. for any services. Our dogs play together the majority of the day. This policy is strictly enforced in order to prevent unplanned pregnancies.
TEMPERAMENT POLICY: In order to ensure the safety of our dogs and staff, dogs weighing more than 20 pounds, dogs with any history of aggression (towards dogs or humans), working breed dogs (or mixes), very athletic dogs, and dogs who have the ability to jump more than 3 feet high will need to schedule an initial temperament interview prior to booking any services at Little Dogs Resort & Salon, Inc.
